When you first arrive: Your trainer will introduce themselves, show you around the studio, explain the reformer and guide you through everything. You don’t need to know what you’re doing, that’s our job.
Class feel: Your first class might feel a little outside your comfort zone, and that’s totally okay. Everyone you see in the studio once stood exactly where you are. Take your time, be kind to yourself, and enjoy learning something different. You’ll be surprised how quickly it clicks.

Instructor support: Our instructors are there to guide you, offering modifications and ensuring you perform exercises safely and effectively.
Breathing techniques: You'll learn to coordinate your breath with movement, aiding in muscle engagement and nervous system regulation.
-

Both studios have a bathroom that you can comfortably change in if needed, but unfortunately we do not have showers.
-
Worried about keeping up? You don’t have to. Our instructors guide everything and give options so you can move at a level that suits you. Their role is to keep you safe and supported, not rushed.
-
Yes, our Reformers safely support clients up to 180kg. We also tailor the springs, set-ups and exercise options for different bodies, so you can train in a way that feels supported, comfortable and effective from day one.
-
Our waitlist will automatically pull you into class from the waitlist on a first come, first served basis. You will be notified by text & email up to 1 hour before class starts if you get into class. If you decide you do not want to wait around, it is imperative you take yourself off the waitlist to avoid being charged a no-show fee. This means if you are on the waitlist the night before a morning class, act as if you are in and wake up, chances are you will get in and we will not accept “I was asleep”.
-
Yes! These classes are designed to be flexible, so whether you’re coming on your own or with your mini, you will be welcomed. You’ll book with the understanding that there may be a bit of extra energy in the room, but the class is created to be welcoming and inclusive for everyone.
-
Any age is welcome! If you have a mini in your care, feel free to bring them along. While there’s no crèche at the studio, you’re more than welcome to bring a mat, some toys, colouring books, or anything else that might help keep your mini happily occupied during the 45-minute session. We’re all about creating an inclusive space that works for you.

Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, strength-based form of training using a spring-loaded machine called a Reformer. The moving carriage and adjustable springs create resistance, which means you are not just stretching, you are building real strength, control and stability in a way that is supportive for your joints. At Club Heart, we use the Reformer as a progressive training tool. That means we can increase or decrease the load, adapt exercises for different bodies and continue challenging you as you get stronger.
-
Not at all, and you are not expected to be. Most of our clients walk in feeling nervous, unsure of what they are doing and convinced they need to “get fitter first”. That is exactly why our classes are structured the way they are. You will start at a level that matches your current strength and experience, and we will coach you from there. The Reformer is designed to support your body while you build strength, which means you do not need a base level of fitness to begin, you build it by showing up. That is the whole point.
-
Each class is 45 minutes long. That gives us enough time to coach you properly, train multiple muscle groups and build real strength, while still being realistic to fit into your schedule consistently. Because the best results come from classes you can actually keep showing up to.
-
It can, but not in the quick-fix way the fitness industry often talks about.
Reformer Pilates is a full-body, strength-based workout that builds muscle, improves your fitness and increases your overall activity levels. All of these things support fat loss over time.
What we see most often at Club Heart is this: when people find a style of training they genuinely enjoy and can stay consistent with, their whole lifestyle starts to shift. They move more, feel stronger, have more energy and naturally make choices that support their health, and body composition changes as a result.
So yes, Pilates can absolutely be part of a fat loss journey. But its real power is helping you build the strength, confidence and routine that make long-term results possible.
-
Yes, Pilates can be adapted for many injuries and conditions. Instructors are trained to modify exercises to accommodate individual needs. It's important to inform your instructor about any injuries or limitations before class and if you have any specific concerns, please email hey@clubheart.au and we can chat.
-
Absolutely. Many of our members train right through their pregnancy and notice huge benefits in their strength, comfort and overall energy levels. Research shows that resistance based exercise during pregnancy can help reduce aches and pains, support joint stability, improve circulation and prepare the body for birth and recovery. Our trainers provide pregnancy-specific modifications so you can continue to move in a way that feels safe and supportive at every stage. We just ask that you have medical clearance and let us know before class.
-
Yes, once you have been cleared by your healthcare provider, you are ready to return to class. From there, you can move at your own pace and build back into your training in a way that feels right for your body. Our trainers will guide you with options if you need them, but there is no expectation to “start from scratch” or do a completely different style of class. Most of our post-natal clients are surprised by how capable they feel, and how good it is to move normally again.
-
Absolutely. We have male members across both studios and we LOVE seeing our Pilates Kings killing it in class. Most men are surprised by how strong, challenging and genuinely enjoyable they find Reformer classes. Strong, capable movement is not gender specific and neither is our studio.
-
For safety and to respect everyone’s class experience, we will not allow anyone to join class after 5 minutes. Joining late disrupts the trainers flow and takes attention away from the class, which is not fair. Please arrive with enough time to spare. Your spot will be given to someone else waiting after 5 minutes.
-
At Club Heart, you are not just booking a Pilates class, you are stepping into a structured training system. Our classes are built around progressive overload principles, which means as you get stronger, your training continues to evolve. You will not plateau and you will not outgrow what we offer. We have a clear level pathway from Beginner through to Advanced, so you always know where you are starting and what you are working towards.
Our trainers are educated in-house through our education system, which is why every class, no matter the level, is intentional, supportive and grounded in real exercise science.
Just as important as how we train is how we make people feel. We are here for the people who never felt like fitness spaces were for them. Everybody is welcome, every starting point is valid and you will be taught in a way that builds confidence, not intimidation.
